Originally from Romania and resident in Italy for over 30 years, Marioara Popescu has over 20 years of professional experience in language services in Italy.

Her work includes translation, interpreting, and language and document assistance in legal, judicial, administrative and commercial settings. Her knowledge of Romanian and Italian, together with familiarity with institutions and procedures in both countries, supports the handling of documents for official use and communication between clients, professionals and institutions.

Her experience includes language services in legal and judicial settings, in both civil and criminal matters, and collaborations with lawyers, notaries, companies and individuals.

Alongside direct work in the Romanian–Italian language pair, Popescu Traduzioni offers certified and sworn translations between Italian and each of the 26 languages in its catalogue through specialist professional collaborations.

Services cover legal, administrative, commercial, technical and personal documents. Interpreting is organised according to the requested languages, professional setting and meeting format. Language training is offered in Romanian and Italian.

Community involvement

Marioara Popescu is President of RoMaria APS, an association promoting Romanian culture and traditions and dialogue between Romanian and Italian communities in Lombardy.

Her involvement includes community gatherings, cultural projects and social initiatives, including the event “Acorduri de toamnă în straie românești”, held in Abbiategrasso in October 2026.
